The journey of 'PublicCommonsIndex' began with the vision of introducing true Neapolitan pizzas to London. Established by the Romano lineage in 1985, this small, family-owned pizzeria was built on recipes that have been treasured for generations.

'Mia Romano', our visionary, mastered the art of creating pizzas through her extensive travels across Italy, particularly training with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the home of pizza. After coming back to the UK, her resolve was to offer the authentic taste of Italian pizza, crafted using ancestral techniques and premium ingredients.

What started as a quaint 12-seat pizza shop has now become an adored local landmark, yet our devotion to supreme quality and authenticity has stood the test of time. We continue to employ original wood-fire ovens, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and handpick superior ingredients.

Today, 'PublicCommonsIndex' is still a family treasure, with its original ethos preserved by the succeeding Romano generation that now steers our passionate team. While modern flair has been adopted, the essence of our establishment endures: to produce scrumptious, genuine pizzas that unite our community.
